Anyone who has ever experienced a menstrual cycle at any time in their life, is eligible to enjoy a yoni steaming session, however there are further qualification parameters covered in the intake form. We use all natural, ethically sourced, certified organic herbs. There are different herbal blends used for various needs. There is a breakdown of the basic herbs used in our formulas found on the YONI STEAMING page. If you have any known allergies please mention them on your intake form so we can take them into account when creating your herbal blend.
For more ladies there is no specific tim e you must be steaming, however there are guidelines to help achieve best results, depending on your cycle and goals. If your period is irregular and it has been 21 days since your last cycle you should schedule a yoni steaming appointment to promote a regular cycle. If your period is on schedule, you should book your yoni steaming session for the week following your period. If you no longer have a period you can book a yoni steaming session any time. We have a special scheduling protocol for fertility clients. Please mention your pregnancy goals and challenges in your intake form.
The herbs used in our yoni steaming blends are known for cleansing, disinfecting, deodorizing, toning, and aromatherapy. Yoni steaming is used to aid women in healing and restoring their reproductive system; postpartum, yeast infections, bacteria vaginosis, pH imbalance, irregular periods, heavy and painful periods, dryness, fertility, fibroids, cysts, endometriosis, and many other conditions. However yoni steaming is not reserved for healing only; it is the best preventative care practice because it is so therapeutic and non-invasive practice to naturally care for ourselves. Yoni steaming will help to tone and strengthen the vagina, which will increase your pleasure in intimacy as well as increase the libido and defeat dryness.
It is recommended that women over the age of 20 and/or sexually active should steam on at least a monthly basis. The conditions that are treated with yoni steaming, such as yeast infections or BV, will often return when you return to the same lifestyle habits, or environment. You should book a yoni steaming session for every 3 to 4 weeks to avoid reoccurring breakouts. If you have a more aggressive goal such as fertility promotion, postpartum recovery, uterine cleansing pre-surgery, etc, you will require a custom protocol for care that may range from daily to weekly sessions, depending on your case.

Yoni steaming is extremely relaxing and refreshing; kinda like taking a nice long warm shower, or bath. At no time during your yoni steaming session should you feel any discomfortable or pain. Yoni steaming cannot fix our health problems immediately however over time, regular yoni steaming can lead to having pain-free periods, rapid post-surgery, post-pregnancy recovery.
YES! You can bring your girlfriends, mother, sisters, colleagues with you. Everyone has to be registered for the appointment. If you do not book the appointment with a friend, your session will be private. If you choose to bring friends with you, we need to know their personal information and the number of ladies planning to come to the appointment for steaming.
YES! Yoni steaming is as safe as drinking herbal tea. All the herbs used in our blends are safe enough to consume or come into close contact with the body. We have safety procedures and protocols in place to ensure your safety. We wait a sufficient amount of time before starting your steaming session to ensure the heat is not intense enough to burn you. We also advise you to remove any genital piercings to avoid the jewelry to heat up and burn you. If you have any other safety concerns, please contact us to discuss them.
YES! We have a special blend just for you. Our mild-cooling blend is great for anyone experiencing hot flashes, night sweats, or vaginal dryness. Yoni steaming is known to strengthen and tone the vagina, which will often lead to an increase in libido for women.At the very least, yoni steaming is very calming and therapeutic. If you a relaxing afternoon in the sauna, hot tub, or ocean, you will enjoy the immediate and accumulative benefits of yoni steaming during or post-menopause.
During your yoni steaming session you are going to feel relaxed, kinda like relaxing in a sauna, hot tub, or warm bath. You will be sitting over steaming pot that has been enclosed in the steaming chair. Once you sit down the steam as no place to escape, and therefore it rises and seeps into vagina. This is why yoni steaming is also known as vaginal steaming. Your private area will begin to feel warm and even sweaty because of the build up of condensation from the steaming pot being enclosed. Nothing is actually "falling out" of you at this time. Once you finish you will be encouraged to return to the washroom to clean yourself up. No. We do not recommend yoni steaming while you're pregnant. If you may be pregnant and you are trying to get pregnant we encourage you to complete a home-pregnancy test to be sure. Yoni steaming while pregnant can cause premature labour, which can result in a miscarriage or delivery complications, so we will not conduct any yoni steaming until after your pregnancy. Postpartum steaming is strongly recommend for complete and rapid recovery to your pre-pregnancy wellness.
Absolutely! There is no designated wait time suggested for the wait between your yoni steaming session and when you have sexual intercourse. Yoni steaming is known to tighten and strengthen the vagina, making your feel more pleasure during intercourse. For this reason we encourage you to give her a spin as soon as you can! Keep in mind that some of the conditions you may be recovering from are related to sexual activity with certain partners. Returning to the same lifestyle habits, and environments can cause conditions certain to return also.
It is safe, and strongly encouraged, to steam postpartum as soon as possible for the first 6 weeks following the pregnancy. Following this postpartum protocol will result in a better 6 week check up with your doctor. This is the best time to work on a complete recovery before seeing your family doctor or gynaecologist. A complete recovery postpartum will also positively impact your breastmilk production if you intend to nurse your baby.
No. We do not permit you to steam while on your period. If your period begins prior to your appointment please contact us to reschedule your appointment. Steaming while on your period can lead to intense hemorrhaging, fatigue, and anemia.
You can notice some changes in your body within the first 24 hours of your first session. Immediately after your first yoni steaming session you will feel so fresh and so clean, like you've never felt before. If you struggle with pH imbalance, or BV, you may notice the odour is gone the same day.
